Polio Video Gallery — Campaign Films, Awareness and Training Material

Video does two jobs for the polio programme that print cannot. It reaches audiences with low literacy in their own language and dialect, and it shows a procedure being performed correctly — which is how a vaccination team is actually trained.

Public awareness films

Campaign films carry the programme's core message: the vaccine is free, safe and takes seconds, and every child under five needs it in every round. Material is produced in Urdu and in regional languages including Pashto, Sindhi, Balochi, Saraiki and Brahui, because a message delivered in a family's own language is the one that lands. Answering misconceptions directly

Some of the most important video material addresses vaccine rumours head-on rather than ignoring them — religious scholars explaining that polio vaccination is permissible, doctors explaining what is actually in the vial, and parents of paralysed children speaking about what refusal cost them. Training material

Technical video is used to standardise practice across a very large, frequently refreshed workforce. Field documentation

Footage from campaigns records the conditions teams work in — mountain routes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, dense neighbourhoods in Karachi, transit points on the Pak-Afghan border, and health camps delivering integrated services. Written versions of these accounts are collected in field stories.
